Queen of Housewives Korean Drama Review
Queen of Housewives, also known as My Wife is a Superwoman, is a new Korean Drama by MBC in 2009. It just started to air on last two weeks, March 16 to be exact.
Synopsis of Queen of Housewives:
Queen of Housewives a.k.a My Wife is a Superwoman tells the story of two high school mates that didn’t have a good relationship with one another. Chun Ji Ae (Kim Nam Joo) used to be the popular girl in school while Yang Bong Soon (Lee Hye Young) is the opposite and always made fun of.
Time passes and they are married with reversed roles. Kang Joon Hyuk (Choi Chul Ho), Bong Soon’s husband, is a successful man while Ohn Dal Soo (Oh Ji Ho), Ji Ae’s husband, is the other way round - working at an average company.
Problem comes when Ji Ae’s husband involves with an affair with Eun So Hyuk (Sun Woo Sun), his Boss’s wife.
I just started to watch episode 1 and all I can say is.. the casts are pretty older than what we’ll find in other Korean Drama. I know, I’m such a judge-a-book-by-it’s-cover kind of person. Hehe.. But the storyline itself sounds interesting. And, what with Oh Ji Ho casting as an average worker again? Duh.. Remind me of his role as the poor Dad in ‘Single Dad in Love’.
You can watch episode 1-3 of Queen of Housewives at Mysoju now.

I’m thinking about watching this Korean Drama. It sounds interesting and looks like a breath of fresh air from all the school-based dramas I’ve been watching lately. I though from the title that this might be some remake of Desperate Housewives, but I guess I was mistaken.
